girls inc of the valley
holyoke, MA
This project involved converting a former office building into a vibrant, modern space designed to serve the organization's mission of empowering young girls throughout the region.
The scope of work included full interior demolition and reconfiguration to accommodate new classrooms, offices, multipurpose spaces, and support areas. A new elevator and entry structure were added to ensure full accessibility for all users. Major system upgrades were also completed, including new plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and modifications to the existing fire sprinkler system to meet current codes.
Exterior site improvements brought further enhancements, including a new deck, fencing, upgraded egress paths, revised parking layouts, and the installation of safe and engaging playground equipment.
Western Builders managed a full range of interior commercial renovation trades—masonry, structural metals, rough and finish carpentry, insulation, windows and doors, drywall, painting, flooring, ceilings, and all mechanical, electrical, and fire protection systems.
This project marks an exciting new chapter for Girls Inc. of the Valley, and we are honored to have played a role in delivering a space that reflects the strength, joy, and purpose of their mission.
